Prenatal Yoga Classes:
Whether this is your first or third pregnancy, prenatal yoga is a beautiful and powerful way to honor your pregnancy as you prepare for the most profound rite of passage - birthing into motherhood. Prenatal yoga can reduce common discomforts of pregnancy while gently strengthening your body and opening your heart in preparation for labor, birth and motherhood. In each class you will nurture your body, form a deeper connection with your baby and build community with other mamas. Classes are designed to give you yogic tools that can help you embrace a conscious and empowered journey into pregnancy, birth and motherhood.
Postpartum Yoga w/ Baby Classes:
Begin to consciously restore your postpartum body, mind and spirit while bonding with baby in a playful, healing and strengthening class. Just as pregnancy is a time of deep transformation, so is the postpartum period. Yoga is a gentle way to help your body recover from childbirth, have fun with baby and connect with other mamas while sharing the challenges, joys and insights of being a mother. Come remember or learn yogic tools for motherhood.
Who:
MamaBirth YOGA Prenatal Yoga Classes are safe and beneficial for women in any stage of pregnancy from conception to labor. Postnatal Yoga is safe for women 4-8 weeks after giving birth and to receive the most benefits the ideal age range for baby is newborn to crawling, however all babies are welcome and no one will be turned away. Ever. Consider consulting your provider before practicing yoga, especially if you are new to this practice. All classes are open level and no prior yoga experience is needed. The novice and the experienced yogini mama will find my classes fun, informative and relaxing.
What to Bring:
Please bring payment for class, a water bottle and a yoga mat if you have one. If you do not have a mat, one will be provided for you at no extra cost.
